Use this page as the broad comment-field guide for invisible Unicode in public replies, social comments, forum replies, video comments, short discussion replies, and comment boxes attached to posts or media.
Comment fields are different from posts, captions, and messages. They are often shorter, more public, more moderation-sensitive, and more likely to apply filters to repeated or invisible-only input.
Comment fields vary across social platforms. Some collapse spacing, some reject invisible-only comments, some display unsupported characters as boxes, and some apply moderation or spam filters before or after publishing.
Comments may also render differently from captions under the same post. A photo caption can preserve spacing while the comment field trims it, or the reverse.
Start from the homepage copy tool. Use invisible comment text for reusable comment patterns, Instagram comments for Instagram-specific behavior, caption text for media captions, post text for post composers, and blank space for spacing character comparisons.
Use invisible text for comments only for formatting and compatibility checks. Avoid comment spam, flooding, harassment, evasion, misleading behavior, or attempts to interfere with moderation.
