Invisible Message Text Tester

Use this page when the field is one message: a DM, SMS-style text, Messenger message, Telegram message, iMessage, WhatsApp chat message, or Discord message box. The goal is to test whether one message field preserves invisible Unicode, not to create repeated blank chat activity.

Message Field Examples

Compatibility Notes

WhatsApp, Messenger, Discord, Telegram, SMS, and iMessage can treat the same invisible Unicode differently. Some apps require visible text, remove invisible-only messages, or show a blank-looking character on one device and a box on another.

Delivery behavior is separate from rendering. A message may paste correctly but fail to send, send to one client but normalize on another, or look different in notifications than inside the conversation.

Troubleshooting

• ✦ If the message will not send, add visible context or stop using invisible-only text in that app.
• ✦ If the character disappears after sending, the app likely normalized or removed it.
• ✦ If the recipient sees a box, the receiving device or font may not support that character invisibly.
• ✦ If notifications reveal spacing differently, test the in-thread view and notification preview separately.
• ✦ If the result is too long, reduce the count to one.
